Angel

"Angel" is a life size figurative sculpture constructed entirely from recycled steel. the body is primarily recycled automotive sheetmetal that has been shaped and quilted over a reinforced metal rod frame. The individual feathers are also cut and reshaped from recycled automotive sheet metal.
Hair has been individually cut, curled, and welded into place.
The eyes are 2" chrome ball bearings, providing a mirror effect.
the color of the corset comes from the original donor metals exsisting paint.

The sculpture is protected with an automotive grade clear coat.
